Post detail and paint work. Came out much better than I was expecting.

This after shot on the passenger fender is the result of wet sanding the masking lines smooth, repainting the lip the correct color using an automotive spray can, wet sanding again after the paint set then buffing the fender with a light compound and machine glaze.

This before shot on the passenger fender shows the paint line where the previous owner had masked the fender lip and painted, leaving a hard line.

Nokian Hakkapeliitta 4 snows in stock 205/65/15 size. Thanks to Mount Pleasant Tire in Mount Pleasant, Michigan for the good deal--$310 installed.

40 degrees... perfect conditions for toting the tree home sans top.



Looking here at the hood and there's no problem seeing where the buffer has been. The untreated paint looks like it just has dirt laying on it, but that won't wipe off with soap and water--the paint is just that contaminated.
