After lots of spy photos, production shots of the BMW X1 have finally popped up on the Internet. Europe will be the first to see the X1 on its roads, with a probable U.S. release in years ahead.
For Europe, the X1 will have mostly diesel power plants, with the gasoline-powered xDrive28i, putting down 258 horsepower and 228 pound-feet, being the most powerful model.
The most powerful diesel model will be the xDrive23d (204 horsepower, 295 pound-feet), but don’t expect to see that or the xDrive20d in future U.S. models, unless we get really lucky.
