What's not to love about the Audi R8? Well, besides the R-tronic transmission. This is one of the sexiest supercars that we've been able to get our hands on, and Audi has now upped the ante on its R8 hotness by removing the roof. The R8 Spyder will be hitting our shores next year in 5.2 V-10 guise, and we're already planning our summer drive routes for this exotic droptop.

It's been talked about for years now, but here it is - the absolutely, 100 percent, production-ready version of Aston Martin's new Rapide four-door. Naturally, this car comes to market at a very interesting time, what with the Porsche Panamera just having hit the pavement. Even so, the Rapide takes all of the traditional Aston Martin values of sportiness, luxury, and style, and offers it in more of a traditional Grand Touring package. It's Aston's family car.

  • Driven: 2010 Audi S4 and S5 Cabriolet (8184 views)

    By Rex Roy on September 15, 2009 12 a.m.

The new 2010 Audi S5 Cabriolet looks good from any angle. Even from the inside of the back seat with the soft-top snuggly closed. Viewed from this slightly cramped vantage, the fact that Audi attends to details in a most exhaustive manner seems abundantly clear.

As one might expect with a lesser-known performance car, the Turbo Coupe community is a lesser-known group of individuals who not only love the Turbo Coupe, but all iterations of the Fox-Body based, “aero birds” that graced the FoMoCo lineup from 1983-1988. They also love and embrace the same-era Mercury Cougar, which mirrored the Turbo Coupe’s development through 1986 by offering the 2.3 turbo with a five-speed on the rare XR-7 model.

We've been waiting for this one for quite some time. McLaren's last official entry into the supercar world was the too-hot F1 which ended production in the late 1990s. But now Lamborghini and Ferrari have a new kid to do battle with -- the MP4-12C, which has been developed entirely in-house and derived from Formula 1 technologies.
