    By Steven J. Ewing on January 01, 2010 11 a.m.

Not long after the launch of the Forte sedan, Kia now introduces the Forte Koup—a sleek entry into a class of vehicles dominated by the Honda Civic, Ford Focus, and Scion tC (which has lost a lot of its youthful Scion luster in recent years). Based on the same good-to-do groundwork as the Forte sedan, the Koup adds a bit more charm and slightly better dynamics to the Forte package; and without spoiling this review, it’s safe to say that Kia may have just built the best coupe available for under $20K.

  • Driven: 2010 Land Rover Range Rover Sport Supercharged (17243 views)

    By Seyth Miersma on December 30, 2009 9:03 a.m.

Perhaps the fat years for vehicles like the supercharged version of the Range Rover Sport have come to an end (or have nearly come there). Yes, Land Rover is still certainly more than willing to sell you one of its towering, racecar-fast SUVs, and there are probably more than a handful of well-off customers that are willing to buy. Toyota is pleased with its new Sienna minivan, seeing it as a fresh alternative to the dumpy, uncool image usually associated with these oft-ridiculed people-haulers. Winding Road’s Seyth Miersma found out if it lived up to the hype, leaving us to paw through the WR family photo albums for past MPVs that transcend their unflattering stereotypes. Surely, the Sienna wasn’t the first vehicle of its kind to attempt to appeal to the more savvy soccer moms.

In a recent press release, Audi states that the Q5 crossover will be the its first production vehicle to feature hybrid technology when it is unveiled near the end of 2010. A hybrid Q5 will be poised to compete against the Lexus RX450h and the all-new Mercedes-Benz ML450 hybrids.
