  • Nissan Shows Potent Leaf Nismo EV Race Car (401 views)

By Winding Road Staff on December 05, 2018 9:44 a.m.

Nissan has shown a new Leaf Nismo RC pure EV race car. The dual 120 kW motors can deliver 478 lb-ft of torque through an AWD system. But the big thing is that the extensive use of carbon fiber reduces the weight of the Leaf RC to 2690 lb. That torque:weight combo allows a 3.3 sec 0-60 time and the low CG should help with handling. We think it looks better than the street car version, too.
