The blown hose at the drag strip. It corkscrewed down and under the EGR valve, making it a very tough field repair.
Going for the exhaust kit with the chrome tips adds roughly $30 to the price of the exhaust, but how can anyone own a LX 5.0 without having these tips?
Back at the shop with the EGR removed, and it still wasn't the easiest fix in the world. But with room to work the two new hoses didn't put up much of a fight.
