While we’ve already had the chance to sample the 2013 Ford Taurus, we still can’t help but be curious about the version that goes into police duty. Thankfully, The Truth About Cars writer David Hester gives the new Police Interceptor a full rundown from the perspective of Johnny Law.
From visibility woes (and solutions), to driving with a holster, to prisoner legroom, Hester’s review gives insight into what it’s like to work in the new generation of cop car. There are even some interesting comparisons between the new Interceptor and the old Crown Victorias that used to make up the service fleet.
Head over to The Truth About Cars to read the full review, and see what one detective thinks of Ford’s new police cruiser. Is it a better police vehicle that its predecessor?
