Involvement Notes: The large footprint combined with a pretty direct handling/ride nature can be a bit unsettling at times, but the 750Li is still an impressive dynamic piece for a car this size.
The biturbocharged 4.4-liter V-8 feels just right in this sort of big-car application, delivering plenty of thrust across the rev range. It’s paired with a right-there gearbox, that while a little low on involvement, gives unobtrusive performance. Truly a fun car, that just happens to be big.
Comfort Notes: Swanky and posh, any way you slice it. Even the short-wheelbase model has plenty of space for rear seat occupants, who are also treated to some of the most comfortable back seats in the business.
This is an effortless cruiser, even when in Sport mode. Switch it to comfort, and the only major concession will be a slight floatiness over larger bumps. On a regular road, it positively glides. Only a few cars score higher than this.
