Underground Racing Boosts Ferrari 458 Italia With Twin Turbos

News I By John Beltz Snyder I January 04, 2011

We don’t know many of the details, but a gallery of photos on Underground Racing’s website, found through Automotorblog, offers up a visual preview of the tuner’s biturbocharged version of the already sublime Ferrari 458 Italia.

In stock form, the 458 offers up a bountiful 562 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque, pushing it to 60 miles per hour in 3.4 thrilling seconds. We can only imagine the thrust of the blown engine Underground Racing is working on. It will undoubtedly add to the visceral and aural splendor of the car. It will probably add quite a bit to the Italia’s $225,325 base price, too.
