Suggested New Year’s Resolutions For Racers
We polled our drivers to find out what New Year’s resolutions they were thinking about. We thought we’d share the list as potential inspiration for you. The idea isn’t to adopt all of them, but you might find something on this list that feels appropriate. Here are the resolutions of our Team Winding Road drivers (or at least the resolutions they’d share!):
· Do “racing" every week: on simulator, karts, bike, reading, networking
· Win a championship
· Mentor a driver
· Get serious about sponsorship
· Develop a more systematic driving approach
· Practice one key skill outside of race weekends
· Get coached regularly
· Meet and develop five new industry relationships
· Build data reviewing and analysis skills
· Get team organized for more track time, with fewer failure points
